Saturday Fun; Holi & Shopping

This weekend my school held a Holi Celebration, which is an Indian tradition where you wear white and throw colored powder at each other. I had a team meeting for my management class and then headed over to Holi right afterwards.

A lot of people came for the event. I had to kick, punch, and shove people just to get more colors. Jk, but not really.

Anyways, I stayed for most of it..and it was pretty fun. The same thing is.. I actually liked the white shirt that I bought lol. I got it just for the event but actually like it. 

After Holi, my friends and I went to clean up and shower. There was a minor incident in the bathroom, but I won't talk about that :'(

Like almost half a year later, I FINALLY got the chance to go to Sally's to buy my hair dye. I did some last minute research and opted for Ion Color Brilliance Powder Lightener and their 30 volume Sensitive Scalp developer. For toner, I got Wella Medium Beige Blonde T27. 

I think I've mentioned before that I want to go blonde at least once or something while I'm still at the appropriate age. 

I also went to VS to get the latest PINK dog :') It's a Red Sox one. They came out with a line of nail polish recently, and I picked up the shade "Tantalize," which is a nude shade. I also picked up polishes at Sally's.. I'm surprised to see the Glitz Blitz 'n Pieces polishes already marked down..especially because the display was still up lol. I also got a Tranzitions polish.. It was B2G1 free hehe :)

I couldn't debate between the nude or the shimmery white flats at Aldo's. I ended up getting neither :X I had a leaning towards the nude ones, but the white ones were cheaper.. so I couldn't decided. After a while I did like the white ones, but something about white shoes were kinda weird, Idk.

I really liked this wristlet D; It was $29.90, and it was such a shame that the $15 off $30 couldn't work. That's just how they get to you. :'( So I didn't get it because I didn't think it was worth $30.

After shopping, we went to get sushi. I treated my roommate because I lost a bet D;

To end the night, we went to visit a friend's dorm and stayed for a few hours before heading back out separate ways. It was really relaxing and it was nice to see everyone again. 

Sunday Fun

Today was a nice, relaxing day. Too bad tomorrow I have another week of class and work to deal with :X 

So today I slept in until about 1:30PM and watched a bit of Glee. I never watched it until this month, so I'm way behind. I just finished the second season though, so one more season to go! =) After eating, I headed out to grab run some errands. I went to L'Occitaine to grab my free (peony) hand cream. I know it's only 30mL but it's sooo tiny. Better than nothing I guess.

Grabbed this from Lindt. They're running a bunch of promotions in stores right now. This was buy one get one free so my boyfriend and I both got one. They look so good..I can't wait to try the tiramisu one! I might just do that after I'm done with this post ;)

Afterwards, I went to Victoria's Secret to pick up a NFL PINK dog!!

If I could get all 32 team's dog, I would, but I guess I'll settle for the Patriot's dog. It's pretty cool how it's an officially licensed product too xD They're running the promo from now until 10/24 that if you purchase any team gear, then you can get a dog for $5. Luckily I had a $10 coupon, so I guess it was worth it :x They better not start charging for dogs for their future promos. or I'll be sad :\

Went to Walmart to grab some tights since I heard they were a lot cheaper there. Not really a big fan of sheer ones.. they're more like pantyhose, so instead of stocking up on those, I grabbed other opaque ones. Wonder which one I'll like the most :x Also needed socks for flats, hopefully they're not going to show through D: especially since I got black it's more noticeable. And founds socks... the only reason why I have to go do laundry is because I run out of socks lmao I have no idea what happened to all of mine.

I went to Dave & Buster's after Walmart. It was a pretty successful night. Won 1616 tickets with 161 points... :o The first game I tried, I hit a jackpot of 1000 tickets :)

Also came home with these babies. :D The guy restocking the a claw machine at another place gave me the Batman :) Last time he gave me the Cut the Rope character :D!! From the claw machines at D&B my boyfriend won a white and pink bear. Lastly we won this character from The Walking Dead. The maggot on its forehead disturbs me :X

To end the night, the boyfriend and I went to go eat at Fox & Hounds. It's my first time there and I can't say I was a big fan =X Maybe the other dishes are better. 

Littleneck clams; they were good, but I wasn't a big fan of the sauce.. it was too sour for my taste.

Lobster ravioli w/shrimp. Sounds amazing right? :o It only came with four raviolis, but it was huge. I wish they were smaller. And I was hoping for chunks of lobster on the inside, but I couldn't really taste it at all. 

Well, that's all :) As soon as I got back I had to turn in an assignment. It only took like five minutes to do though. Now I have to read... booooo. :( Well until next time!

Adopted Six More PINK Dogs!!

As usual, I'm sooo tired right now. I stayed up until 5:30AM last night and only had a little more than an hour of sleep. School went by quickly. I had a math test that I didn't study for and I used my free period to catch up on some sleep, but nonetheless I think I did well somehow. I did some cramming during an assembly with a friend where she pretty much showwed me her notes in silence because we couldn't talk LOL. I have work until 9PM, so I can't wait til I can go to bed.

Today, these striped Victoria's Secret PINK dogs came out :D I haven't been collecting them from the very beginning, but I have everything (except one.....) from the last two years :D I actually bought a bookshelf from IKEA a few months ago not for books, but to display my dogs instead...

My boyfriend went to get them for me while I was at work yayyy!!

Yesterday on Monday, this is what I saw when I woke up :(

I went to Ikea just to try to food there haha. I've been told that the food is good there, but I think it's okay. I ordered side dishes and a chocolate cake.

Side of Mac and Cheese & Fries

I wasn't a fan of the mac & cheese because it just didn't have the cheese melty the way I like it. Instead the cheese tasted kind of powdery and it was chunky

However, the fries were very crispy, which is how I like my fries.

Chocolate cake!! It was very good and it was what I've been craving for, contrary to the dry texture from the cake in my previous post.

My boyfriend ordered Swedish meatballs and chicken noodle soup. He's been raving about how good the meatballs are, but I think they're okay. Not really my favorite. The soup smelled really delicious :)

Bought a bar of chocolate for home. Only 99 cents!
