L'Occitane Angelica Toner

I actually got this a while ago but never got to use it until recently because mine finally ran out. Hope it's not expired oh well. -_-

Anyways, I went to try it out like a year ago and I'm pretty sure I didn't quite like it then, and who knows why I decided to get it anyways. Probably because it was their new line and I wanted it because of that. -_-
It has a very fresh sorta scent. It doesn't smell nice, but not bad either. Like a neutral scent, reminds me of aloe for some reason. I probably don't even know what aloe smells like. Maybe just because they're both green and plants.

According to the site: "This alcohol-free Angelica Face Toner, enriched with angelica essential oil and water, moisturizes, refreshes and rids the skin of impurities. After use, skin is soft, radiant and ready to absorb all the benefits of your daily skin care regimen. Suitable for all skin types."

But anyways, I'm not really a big fan of it. After applying it, it makes my skin feel super sticky. I'm not sure if it's just because it's the summer so I'm more oily. I have normal skin, not oily. Or maybe I tend to be more oily in the summer and I just forget every year wtf. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I had this same problem the first time I tried it last year. I feel like it doesn't absorb completely and just leaves my skin sticky. I had this same problem with this Sephora toner I bought (I ended up tossing it because it was probably expired but I used it anyways WTF)

It costs $22 for 200mL/6.7 fl. oz. I think that's expensive? I dunno how much toner normally cost. Do they even sell them in drugstores?? -_- It's cheaper than the Shiseido one I normally use though which is $24.50 for 150mL/5 fl. oz.

Maybe I'll save a bit for the fall and see if it's still making my skin sticky (which I'm sure it will) so then it won't have the summer as an excuse.

Btw, here's the back label with all the info and ingredients blah blah blah

  1. I use two type of toners by The Balm and they don't leave a sticky feel on my face. They cost $12.50 and $14.50 for 177ml

    1. I'll keep them in mind! Do you order directly from their site?
